Trips to historical landmarks in Bulgaria

Trips to the Rhodopes

The legendary beauty of the Rhodopian mountain has been glorified by the mythical Thracian singer Orpheus. 4-star Spa Hotel "Hissar"

120 beds were added to the existing 110 in the new part of the 4-star Spa Hotel “Hissar”. One of the biggest health centers in Bulgarian Spa hotels category is built in the new part of the hotel. The new part meets all requirements for 5-star hotel, but it also has 4 stars, because hotel management considers that it is not acceptable to make any difference between customers. In fact, guests who prefer spending a night in the new part should pay 40€ more than those in the star part. However, they can take advantage of more Spa procedures.

SPA centers in Bulgaria generally offer recreation, relax, health enhancing procedures and programs primarily involving the traditional use of natural mineral water which varies in temperatures and mineral content. Many of Bulgarian SPA and wellness centers now also offer the mainstream wellness alternatives. Bulgaria has plenty of potential for developing wellness tourism. According to the owner, Spa and Wellness tourism in Bulgaria have huge potential and they have attracted growing number of tourists in the recent years. The Manager also explained that the hotel takes care of its guests, because everyone needs to be treated as special and should receive excellent quality of services and facilities so as to be made to feel revived spiritually and physically.

Mr. Georgiev concluded that there is still great potential for the development of Spa and Wellness tourism.
